   5 The weather project employs the ISC license, a permissive free software
   6 license written by the Internet Systems Consortium and functionally
   7 equivalent to the 2-clause BSD license. Initially used for the ISC's own
   8 software releases, it has since become the preferred license of many
   9 other projects.

  11 The correlation data provided is augmented by manual research but built
  12 primarily by aggregating sources within the USA Public Domain (U.S.
  13 Census Bureau Gazetteer and publications of the National Oceanic and
  14 Atmospheric Administration's National Climatic Data Center and National
  15 Weather Service including its National Centers for Environmental
  16 Prediction and Office of Science and Technology/Systems Engineering
  17 Center Geographic Information Systems Map Group). Copies of the original
  18 external data sources have been provided with this software for
  19 reference, but are not covered by the copyright or permission notices
  20 which follow.
